2012 Employee Giving Campaign

Dear Colleague,

Our Annual Employee Campaign will be held from May 1st to May 31st. In keeping with tradition, the Campaign will assist our patient and families with their medical and non-medical needs, as well as benefit the Medical Center through unrestricted funds.

Your dedication to quality healthcare is demonstrated in the work you do everyday at Connecticut Children’s. Through your gift to the Employee Campaign, you further your commitment to ensuring each of our patients and their families receive the most advanced and compassionate care in the region. You also convey a powerful message to our employee base and the community that the Medical Center is worthy of our charitable support.

Now, more than ever, your support of the Campaign is greatly needed. During these challenging economic times, the number of families who are turning to us for assistance continues to increase. Your commitment is integral to our ability to fulfill their needs and to the success of the Campaign. Please consider making a contribution to one of the following funds:

The Children First Fund

Provides non-medical necessities such as groceries, diapers, transportation, formula and parking passes to our children and families.

The Caring and Sharing Fund

Helps pay for the medical needs of children who are not covered by insurance including medical equipment, supplies and special prescribed services.

The Annual Fund

Provides monies to help offset the day to day operational expenses of the Medical Center including specialized services that offer the best pediatric care in the region.

When we give to our own healthcare community, we witness firsthand the difference we make in the lives of our patients and build upon our strong legacy of family-centered care.
