Thank you for your interest in the 9th Annual Geno Auriemma’s “Fore the Kids” Charity Golf Tournament - where players are treated to a day filled with 18-holes at the prestigious Hartford Golf Club, followed by a spectacular dinner catered by OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE of Manchester, Connecticut. This special day ends with an impressive auction and raffle that guests will not want to miss!

In 2010, we raised more than $80,000 for the Division of Orthopaedics at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. The generosity of our players and sponsors enabled Connecticut Children’s to invest in the latest technology – an orthopaedic surgical table. This state-of-the-art equipment allows surgeons to perform complex procedures, such as spinal surgeries or hip replacements, with minimally invasive alternatives. As a result, children experience less post-operative pain, are at decreased risk for infection and their recovery time is significantly reduced.

In addition to purchasing leading edge technology, events like ours help to provide Connecticut Children’s with necessary funding to offer innovative treatments for neuromuscular and skeletal disorders while continuing their extensive research on some of the most common athletic injuries like ACL tears and concussions.

This year’s event promises to be our must successful yet and we are currently accepting sponsorships, auction and raffle prizes.  Advertisements in our program book, tee signs and flags are also available for purchase.
