The Hoffman family and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center invite you to join us for the 14th Annual Burton C. Hoffman Golf Classic on June 11, 2012 at the picturesque Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT. Known as one of the region’s most enjoyable and perfectly maintained courses, Tumble Brook features 27 scenic holes with impressive views of Talcott Mountain to the west and downtown Hartford to the south.

Over the course of 13 years, the BCH Classic has raised over one million dollars for the Burton C. Hoffman Surgery Center at Connecticut Children’s. With more than 10,000 surgical cases in 2011, Connecticut Children’s Division of Surgery continues to advance as a national leader in pediatric surgery.

Since its opening in 2009, The Burton C. Hoffman Surgery Center has enabled Connecticut Children’s to offer families private clinical care space, consultation rooms, areas of respite and waiting rooms with amenities such as wi-fi, flat screen televisions, an electronic notification system and family liaison representatives. These services provide families comfort and access while awaiting surgery and for children in recovery. Facing a surgical procedure is a very emotional experience for children and their families. Through the generosity of those who participate in the Classic, we are helping to ease anxiety and create a reassuring environment for patients.
