The Burton C. Hoffman Surgery Center at Connecticut Children's Medical Center
The idea of having surgery is overwhelming for anyone at any age and can be specifically frightening for a child. For the almost 10,000 children who undergo surgery at Connecticut Children's in an average year, the Medical Center is committed to ensuring that each child's physical and emotional needs are cared for during this challenging time.
With support from the Burton C. Hoffman Golf Classic, Connecticut Children's is able to create more private clinical care space, consultation rooms and areas for respite and play for families awaiting surgery and for children in recovery. These are all key components to achieving their mission to provide the highest quality of care in a safe, family-centered environment.
