In a typical day at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, 20 new patients will be admitted. Over 40 children will undergo a surgical procedure. Approximately 150 kids will be treated in the Emergency Department. A family may learn their child has been diagnosed with cancer. A child may seek treatment for diabetes. And a premature baby may begin a fight for life.
Connecticut Children’s is the state’s only academic medical center dedicated exclusively to the care of children and young adults. Proceeds from this tournament will help the Medical Center invest in pediatric subspecialists, cutting-edge technology, equipment and research needed to advance Connecticut Children’s mission. Your support will help provide care that makes kids better – the care they deserve.
