Welcome to the 12th Annual Aces for Kids Golf Outing to benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. For more than a decade, our friends and colleagues have joined together to support the Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Connecticut Children’s and since that time, we’ve raised an impressive $560,000 and helped to create the most comprehensive, patient-centered program in the region. However, our work is not done.
Not all cancers are created equally and some are harder to treat than others - some recur and some don’t respond to conventional treatments at all. That is why the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Connecticut Children’s has established the Advanced Cancer Care & Research Program. Families in the Advanced Cancer Care Program receive access to early phase treatment options, novel therapeutic medications, in-depth emotional support, financial assistance, end-of-life care and most importantly - hope.
Aces for Kids has dedicated its efforts to the children of the Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Connecticut Children’s. With your help, all of our children with advanced and difficult-to-treat cancers will receive the specialized care they need and deserve.
I greatly appreciate your commitment to these kids and their families through your participation in the Aces Golf Outing.
