Join Team Connecticut Children’s and support Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in our mission to improve the physical and emotional health of children through family-centered care, research, education and advocacy. With each mile, you will be helping to give the children and families of our region the care they deserve.
Team Connecticut Children’s welcomes runners and walkers at any level, from the recreational runner to the experienced marathoner. You can participate in the marathon, half marathon, 5K or relay. Team registration coming soon!
Once you have become a member of the team, you will be contacted with information to help you set up a customized, personal fundraising page. Each team member is encouraged to raise a minimum of $500 by asking friends and family to support their efforts through a gift to Connecticut Children’s. Funds raised will allow Connecticut Children’s to invest in the resources, technology and state-of-the-art equipment that define the exceptional care we provide. As part of your commitment you will be registered as a member of Team Connecticut Children’s and receive a dry fit team jersey while supplies last.
The Hartford Marathon Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), not for profit organization, founded in 1994. Its mission is to organize programs and events that promote health, fitness and enjoyment for participants of all ages and experience levels. Over 60,000 people participate annually in HMF events. Connecticut Children’s is proud to be one of the official charities of the ING Hartford Marathon.

Connecticut Children's Medical Center was one of the official charities of the 2012 ING Hartford Marathon. With 80 runners this year, Team Connecticut Children's was the largest group that participated. We congratulate everyone who ran, and want to thank the team for raising more than $32,000 for Connecticut Children's!
