Counsel Conquering Cancer is an event founded by lawyers for all who support Connecticut Children's in its fight against childhood cancer.  Their mission is simple: to raise awareness and money to benefit Connecticut Children's Medical Center Division of Hematology/Oncology.

Your gift will support Connecticut Children's basic and translational cancer research program.  Current programs we are seeking to support include our genomics based cancer and brain tumor treatment program, a joint effort between Connecticut Children's Medical Center and The Jackson Laboratories.

The past year at Connecticut Children’s:

• 70 children were newly diagnosed with cancer
• Approximately 100 patients received treatment for cancer
• Our youngest oncology patient was 5 months old
• The hospital participated in 110 active clinical trials
• We ranked in the top 5 percent of childrens' hospitals worldwide for number of open clinical trials
