Taking the Toy Drive Online
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, there will be no toy drop-off locations this year. Online contributions or MyRegistry wish list purchases only.
For 24 years, troopers from Troop H of the Connecticut State Police have been as busy as Santa’s elves carrying out their December Toy Drive.
With assistance from Ambulance Service of Manchester (ASM) and Aetna Ambulance, the troopers have collected more than half a million toys and more than $240,000 in donations to benefit children who find themselves in the Emergency Department at Connecticut Children’s during the holidays and throughout the year.
Children who have to visit Connecticut Children’s can be overwhelmed with the unknown. Toys collected by the State Police provide a welcome distraction to children and help encourage communication between a care provider and patient. Making a donation today helps provide smiles all year long. Sometimes a toy can be the one thing a child remembers about their visit – a memory you can create.
Calling all Schools and Businesses!
Give $1 – Wear your PJs – Support Kids with Cancer
PJ Day for the Kids kicks off its 10th anniversary with a mission to not only raise money, but to honor the brave kids fighting cancer at Connecticut Children’s. Join us as students and businesses across Connecticut wear their PJs for the kids. Coordinate a PJ Day for your school or business now by clicking here.
Since 2011, thousands of children in Connecticut have worn their PJs to school and, simultaneously, have raised more than $1,000,000 in support of kids at Connecticut Children’s. Each year, PJ Day has inspired more and more schools and businesses across the state of Connecticut to participate. Won’t you join them?
The Allied Printing Services Charitable Foundation’s 13th Annual Golf Tournament will take place Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Tunxis Country Club. Tunxis offers two 18-hole courses for our guests to enjoy: the Green Course, a par 70 links-style course featuring narrow fairways, and the White Course, a par 72 course featuring several island greens that require accurate approach shots.
Allied has generously raised more than $200,000 for Connecticut Children’s, touching every corner of the Medical Center. Since 2008, Allied has been a generous supporter of Connecticut Children’s Greatest Need Children’s Fund, and beginning in 2016, proceeds have supported Connecticut Children’s Office for Community Child Health (the Office).
Player spots and sponsorship opportunities are available.
Golfers will receive $100 in Nike tee gift prizes, and the famous Golf Ball Launcher will be back this year!
