Theresa’s Battleship Foundation looks forward to welcoming guests at Three Sixty°, located in the heart of Tribeca, for their 4th Annual Gala.
Celebrate the life and memory of Theresa at one of New York City’s premier event spaces. Architecturally designed, Three Sixty° offers 360° of uninterrupted and breathtaking views of Manhattan. The 30,000 square foot space is complemented by a modern and minimalistic design. Large windowed walls offer panoramic views that stretch for miles – engulfing you with NYC’s captivating energy.
The Gala includes an open bar, food, a DJ, raffles and a silent auction.
In September of 2010, Theresa Joan Fitzpatrick, at the age of 16, was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer. She passed away on June 30, 2013. Her death was a terrible loss but her three year struggle with the disease was an inspiration to all who knew her. Despite the chemotherapy, surgeries, and all the side effects that came with them, Theresa never lost the qualities that made her so special. She captained her high school tennis and soccer teams, went to parties, spent endless times with many friends, went to prom, and completed her first year of college as a biology major. All who knew her were drawn to her and her never ending, amazing smile.
Theresa’s Battleship Foundation is a 501(c)3, non profit organization. The Foundation raises money and provides funding for the laboratory research and clinical trials program within the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders at Connecticut Children’s. All monies raised have gone 100% to this cause.
