WesTHON @ Wesleyan University - Beckham Hall
Apr 19 @ 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm
WesTHON @ Wesleyan University - Beckham Hall | Middletown | Connecticut | United States

Weslyan University is on a mission to help sick and injured kids in their local community. They are raising funds and awareness through a Dance Marathon for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Connecticut Children’s treats more than 100,000 patients annually—with care ranging from annual checkups to treatments for a life-threatening disease or chronic illness—from Connecticut and beyond.

WesTHON was established by Shane Ross, who serves as co-executive director along with Grant Hill. Shane shared that WesTHON successfully raised more than $25,000 in their first two years without any University sponsored support. Shane was inspired to make a difference because he understand the anguish a sick family member can impose upon a family and he wanted to change that. After learning about Miracle Network Dance Marathons, he knew how to make it happen for families served by Connecticut’s only free-standing pediatric medical center.
