Cycle Out Cancer @ CycleBar - The Shoppes at Farmington Valley
Jan 26 @ 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Who are you cycling for?

Register Today!

Beat back winter and head over to CycleBar at The Shoppes at Farmington Valley to “Cycle Out Cancer” for an epic, one-of-a-kind spinning event on January 26, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Register for a one-hour class or for multiple hours by clicking on the “tickets” button on the eventbrite registration website. There will be t-shirts, food, awards and prizes.

You and your friends can beat the January chill, spinning indoors at your own pace. Burn up and down the virtual hills or cruise the open road. Either way, you will be “Cycling Out Cancer” for kids in our region receiving treatment at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

CYCLEBAR of Canton is a premium indoor cycling facility opened by Kevin and Liz Anderson in September 2018. Kevin is a retired colonel with the United States Marine Corps and retired Connecticut State Trooper. They are excited to bring a new cycling experience to the Farmington Valley and look forward to giving back to the community.

ZumbaTHON is the best way to get prepared for HuskyTHON’s 18-hour dance marathon! It’s a 3-hour Zumba Fitness dance party, and all for a great cause! On February 10th, from 1 pm to 4 pm, your favorite UConn Bodywise instructors will be rockin’ the UConn Field House with your favorite dance styles: Salsa, Merengue, Samba, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Hip-hop, Pop, Bollywood, and more!

ZumbaTHON is open to anyone — not just UConn students!

Bring your friends, family, colleagues, classmates, teammates, coworkers… whomever! Stay as long as you’d like — every instructor will be teaching during every hour, so if you have a favorite (or several favorites, as the case may be), you can’t miss them. Instructors will include Michelle Lombardo, Rachel Barile, Sabrina Skenyon and Justine Montreuil.

HuskyTHON is an annual fund-raising effort coordinated by the students at the University of Connecticut. Last year alone, HuskyTHON raised more than $1 million and since 2000 they have raised nearly $5 million. For more information about HuskyTHON, please visit www.huskython.org
