Warbirds Over Ellington @ NCRCC Club Field
Sep 8 @ 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Fly out to Ellington to experience radio-controlled model aircraft in action!

Come out and enjoy the day at the Warbirds Over Ellington. With over 100 model aircraft on display and flying, The Northern Connecticut Radio Controlled Club (NCRCC) wants to introduce you and your family to an exciting new hobby. Club member models represent real aircraft from World War I & II as well as current military aircraft. Wingspans vary from a few feet to over 10 feet. It’s better than XBOX in 4K!!

Bring lawn chairs and come early as our parking lot fills rapidly. Food and refreshments will be available at the field. Rain date planned for September 8, 2019.

The Northern Connecticut Radio Controlled Club (NCRCC) was established in 1962. Today the club has a membership of over 130 members of all ages. NCRCC is one of only 4 clubs in the USA that own our own property. Our field consists of 42 acres with a 600 x 100 foot grass runway and a 20 x 200 foot paved runway. The club hosts various contest events throughout the year and for 2019, Connecticut Children’s has been selected as the beneficiary of the charity portion of the event.
