Enjoy the first day of Spring with Dairy Queen®!
At participating Dairy Queen® locations throughout Connecticut, fans will enjoy a free small vanilla soft-serve cone with the signature curl on top (limit one per customer while supplies last). Stores will be collecting donations in support of Connecticut Children’s through their partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Spend your Saturday night at The Loft in New Haven, a premier & exclusive car venue. Crosseyed Cats Rock Out for the Kids!
The Waterbury Elks Lodge will be full of Rock N’ Blues as Crosseyed Cat takes over the stage. Join Crosseyed Cat and Redline and two guest bands, New England’s Head Over Heals and Red Zone, as they rock Sunday away for the kids. Tickets include admission as well as a buffet lunch/dinner. Cash bar will be available.
Inspired by the great urology care his daughter received as an infant, Tommy Sanchez decided he could make a difference for other children doing what he loves. Started back in 2011 by Sweet Eddie Sanchez, Tommy Sanchez and Joe Gabriel, this spectacular concert has raised more than $100,000 to date, with $17,500 raised in 2019 alone. And these guys aren’t messing around – they have their sights set on raising $20,000 in 2020.
Come out and show your support for Connecticut Children’s Urology Department. Tickets are available at the door.

The Department of Connecticut American Legion is a strong advocate for children and youth. This steadfast dedication continues to be a driving force on behalf of children across the country. Real Support for Real Heroes
Run your own race—participate at your own pace—all while generating support for Connecticut Children’s healthcare heroes.
Registration begins May 1st
Whether you choose to run or walk outside, complete your own race on a treadmill, participate in an online fitness class, practice yoga or go for a long bike ride—the way you choose to participate in the Superhero Virtual Challenge is completely up to you!

Join us at Birdies & Horsepower as we kick off our Dream Ride Experience 2020 with a day of Golf, Cars, Horses, Awareness & Giving! We will be starting the day off with a Golf Tournament & ending the night in celebration at the Farmington Polo Club, while enjoying a Polo Match, Dinner, Cocktails, Car Show, Live Auction and Live Music. Birdies & Horsepower is proud to be raising awareness and funds for the Hometown Foundation, Inc., Dream Ride Experience 2020 and featured charity Connecticut Children’s.

Saturday, June 27
Get your family together for a Family Game Day in support of children’s health care! The concept of Extra Life is that people pledge their support to the gamers who play any games they wish for an allotted amount of time. Gamers can participate in video, tabletop, lawn, fantasy and other games.
Households are encouraged to participate in Family Game Day on June 27. You can also mark your calendar for the 24-hour National Game Day on November 7. To encourage the most possible participation, the Extra Life program welcomes you to participate any day of the year for any amount of time, in order to raise funds to support Connecticut Children’s.
Register and create your own personal fundraising page, which you can share with friends, family, streamers, and more! Show off how you’re playing games to heal kids. All funds raised will benefit Connecticut Children’s as we continue to care for patients and families across Connecticut.

Sunflowers as far as the eye can see
Come get lost in OUTER SPACE at Lyman Orchard’s sunflower maze! With more than 350,000 red and yellow sunflowers immersing guests in a 360-degree environment, it’s a wonderful experience for children and adults alike. Enjoy Lyman Orchards 2.5-acre sunflower maze as yellow finches and beautiful butterflies fly around.
Open Daily 9:00 am – 5:00 pm from August 1 through August 30.
$1 of each admission is donated to in support of pediatric cancer patients at Connecticut Children’s. Over the past 13 years, supporters of the maze have helped Lyman Orchards contributed more than $132,000 to the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Connecticut Children’s.
