Celebrating more than 30 years and $125 million raised for local kids!

Dairy Queen loves kids. Whether its kids’ sports teams celebrating at our restaurants after games, children enjoying dinner with their parents or teenagers visiting for cool treats at the end of a date, DQ and kids go hand in hand. And if these cherished youngsters ever become sick or injured, we want to help assure they have the best medical care available. That’s why the DQ system has been a proud national partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) since 1984.

The founders of the Dairy Queen® system were men and women who introduced a new kind of dessert treat and, in the process, developed the foundation of the franchising industry. The history of the DQ® system is a story of a unique product that created an industry. Visit DQ online.

Last year, dedicated supporters and newcomers joined together to raise over $89,000 for Connecticut Children’s. Event Chairman, Bill Gonet – Barnes Aerospace, expressed his gratitude of the aerospace industry sponsors that make the tournament possible. His remarks were followed by Lindsay David’s. Lindsey is the mother of a young patient, Gavin, and she spoke about the life-saving treatment her son has received in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Connecticut Children’s and inspired attendees to give generously.

Since inception in 2002, this event has raised nearly $1,000,000 and is a key annual fundraising event to benefit Connecticut Children’s and its pediatric cancer patients.

Connecticut Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders provides access to state-of-the-art therapies for newly diagnosed patients as well as those with resistant or recurring cancers. For patients seeking hope in a new treatment, we provide options close to home. In addition to using today’s most advanced technology, Connecticut Children’s is working to define tomorrow’s innovation through vigorous research and exploring new treatments and cures. The Aces for Kids Golf Outing is proud to support the Division of Hematology/Oncology in creating the most comprehensive, patient-centered program in the region.
