How Are We Making a Difference

Connecticut Children’s has taken decisive action to protect patients, families and team members, while still providing world-class pediatric care. Since the pandemic has hit, Connecticut Children has made significant and unexpected investments to meet the demands of COVID-19. Members of Connecticut Children’s Connection are supporting two funds addressing Connecticut Children’s COVID-19 response:

  • The COVID-19 Emergency Fund supports immediate needs of Connecticut Children’s directly related to COVID-19 including personal protective equipment, visitor and team member temperature screening, patient testing and treatment and increased telemedicine capabilities.
  • The Caring for Team Members Fund provides assistance to Connecticut Children’s employees who face a critical need and are dealing with an unexpected and temporary financial hardship as a result of events beyond their control, like the COVID-19 crisis.

How You Can Join Us

Becoming a member is easy—a gift of $250 or greater to either COVID-19 response fund secures your spot as a member of Connecticut Children’s Connection. Not only will you receive the 2020 member benefits, you’ll know your membership gift is having an immediate impact.

2020* Connecticut Children’s Connection Member Benefits:

  • Recognition on the Connecticut Children’s Connection web page as a member of the inaugural COVID-19 Heroes class;
