Each year Connecticut Children’s Medical Center awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to outstanding students who are connected to the Medical Center. Scholarship information and application forms are available below.
For the 2016-2017 school year underway, Connecticut Children’s has awarded $42,500 to students pursuing secondary education.
Isidore Wise Scholarship Program
Five scholarships in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded to individuals attending an accredited post-secondary undergraduate institution in the fall. The scholarships will be awarded to deserving high school students completing their senior year in 2017 who are past or present patients of the Medical Center or are current or former students of the CCMC School.

Dr. Eileen Gillan Honorary Scholarship
One scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded at the Pediatric Cancer Survivorship Celebration to a deserving high school senior who is a current or former oncology patient of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. This award is presented in honor of Dr. Eileen Gillan to recognize her dedication to creating a pediatric cancer survivorship program.

Friends Scholarship for Children of Employees
The Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Friends will award three scholarships of $5,000 to three (3) graduating high school seniors who will be attending an institution of higher learning in the fall of 2017. Candidates must be a child of an active employee (who has been on the payroll as of January 1, 2017).
