Connecticut Children's Medical Center - Holiday Card ProgramThis holiday season, three Connecticut Children’s patients are applying their artistic talents to give back to the Medical Center. Good Cause Greetings will feature the artwork of Ainsley, age 10, Graham, age 6, and Gavin, age 11, in this year’s holiday greeting card collection.

All three kids have had their fair share of visits to Connecticut Children’s in their young lives.

Ainsley and Graham were born prematurely and were cared for by the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center team at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. Ainsley spent six days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and her brother, Graham, spent 28 days in the NICU, receiving expert care. Today, they are healthy, active youth who enjoy school and extracurricular activities.

Gavin continues to receive care at Connecticut Children’s since being diagnosed with a rare condition called Dravet syndrome at 6 months of age. While he continues to have struggles with seizures, Gavin remains a fun-loving optimistic spirit, who is driven to give back to other patients.

Check out our Holiday Card Program to see how these three children are giving back to other pediatric patients through their artwork.
