As a child, you dream of being the star of a photo shoot, of being treated like a celebrity. Hair, make-up and costumes – and then the camera flashes begin. It’s all about the kids here at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, so who better to be the stars for our 2017 Gala? Our patient ambassadors of course!
Lily, 4 years old (Jasmine), Charlie, 1 year old (Abu), Drew, 8 years old (Aladdin) and Jordan, 8 years old (Genie), had no idea what they were in for when their parents informed them they had been nominated to participate in a special photo shoot for the 2017 Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Gala. All they knew was that they were excited and honored to be a part of the festivities. Check out the photo gallery below to see our stars in action and purchase your ticket to the Gala if you want to meet them!
Since opening our doors 21 years ago, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center has served as a “Wondrous Place” for children and families in Connecticut and around the globe. So it’s fitting that the theme for this year’s signature event will be an Aladdin inspired, arabian nights celebration. This year’s Gala will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Connecticut Convention Center. In addition to dining, dancing, and bidding, guests will enjoy live performances fit for a sultan. View event listing
