HuskyTHON is a year-long philanthropic effort at the University of Connecticut to raise funds and awareness for Connecticut Children’s, a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This effort culminates in an 18-hour dance marathon, where thousands of UConn students come together to dance for those who can’t. HuskyTHON is entirely student-run and their Management Team of undergraduate student leaders work tirelessly to make each HuskyTHON is better than the last.
HuskyTHON has continued to dedicate their time, effort, and funds to making an impact on the lives of patients and families at Connecticut Children's for over 20 years. As a nationally ranked Dance Marathon, HuskyTHON is the #3 dance marathon in the country and is the largest Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon in the Northeast. Over the past 24 years, HuskyTHON has raised over $11 million for Connecticut Children’s, making it the largest third-party fundraiser for the health system.
