Double Your Donation

Many employers will match gifts of their employees or retirees to Connecticut Children’s. If you’re not taking advantage of this benefit, you may be leaving money on the table.

Initiate a Matching Gift

If your company matches donations made to Connecticut Children’s Foundation, here are three ways to initiate the matching gift contribution:

While making your donation, enter your employer's name in the field provided to see if they match gifts made to Connecticut Children's Foundation. If listed, select your employer and complete* the donation process.

Once your gift has been made you will receive a confirmation email and gift receipt, for tax purposes, from Connecticut Children's Foundation. This will be followed by an email for you to begin the matching gift process required by your employer. Please take action on this email to ensure the matching gift is completed.

*Please note, some employers require your donation be made through their matching gift platform in order to be matched.

Make a Gift

If your company uses an online matching gift platform, submit a matching gift verification request through your company’s online portal and select “Connecticut Children’s Foundation, Inc.”

Obtain the appropriate matching gift verification form from your personnel/human resources office. Please complete the form and email, mail or fax the form and a copy of your receipt (if available) to:

  • Email: foundation [at] connecticutchildrens.org (foundation[at]connecticutchildrens[dot]org)
  • Mail: Connecticut Children’s Foundation, Inc.
             Attn: Matching Gifts
PO Box 412901, Boston, MA 02241-2901

Note: Please be sure to complete the entire donor portion of the form and to include a copy of your gift receipt (if available). If you would like to designate the matching gift to a specific funding area, please indicate that on the form.
