QTHON

QTHON is a year-long, a student-led organization that culminates in a 6-hour dance marathon which raises funds and awareness for Connecticut Children’s. Students and organizations join this campus-wide movement that started in 2011 by registering and creating fundraising pages, participating in events on campus, and asking friends and family members for donations. The year of fundraising is celebrated at Quinnipiac University's annual Dance Marathon event, where students connect with and honor patient families, play games, enjoy entertainment, fundraise, and reveal our annual fundraising total. QTHON is the largest philanthropic event at Quinnipiac, raising $140,997.49 in 2024 alone, and has raised over $1.8 million for Connecticut Children's since its inception.

QTHON was nationally recognized as the Most Improved Dance Marathon Program at the national 2024 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Ignite conference.
